A Carmarthenshire amateur orchestra serving the community by playing and making music fun
The band is made up of members of all ages and skill levels from those just starting, to those dusting off their school instruments to those who have never stopped playing since an early age.
Our Musical Director is Mark Jennings. Mark is a professional musician who works for Carmarthen Music Service.
Mark works tirelessly to ensure our musical programme meets the needs of our performances, whether this involves classical, jazz, pop, movie themes ........... and to make sure that it's FUN for us all.
He also ensures that the more advanced players give a strong lead to their less experienced colleagues: Mark's expertise and patience soon makes even a near-beginner feel they are effective members of the 'Band'.
